Dizzy's Delivery Diner, a new restaurant serving Weston, Florida, needed a logo, a creative look and feel and a website to promote their services.
The Goal
Our task was to create a fresh, great looking logo and color scheme for print and web that reflected Dizzy's eclectic menu, as well as create a new website for its lunch, dinner and catering customers. The website needed to be flexible, presenting static information such as menus, hours and directions to their location as well as frequently updated sections, such as the weekly specials.
Our Solution
The major challenge with Dizzy's Delivery Diner was creating a fresh, clean look that reflected the international food influences on the menu, and worked with their unique offering of hearty, healthy, fresh meals with the convenience of delivery/take out. We created a logo with an Asian flair and combined it with a "spicy" color palate that reflects the diversity of the menu and ties in with the décor of the restaurant. The overall look is very fresh and somewhat playful, in perfect harmony with the type of food and service Dizzy's offers.
We then created a clean web interface design that is visually interesting without being distracting. All elements on the site are within 2 clicks of the mouse from the homepage, with the most important information up front, and visitors are encouraged to print-out the menu, weekly specials, and directions. Dizzy's had a special request for Deep Blue to create an interface where weekly specials could be updated and edited by them. We used PERL to create a quick and easy to use tool for them to update specials right from their website, so their specials could be presented on their homepage as well as on a printable "Specials" page.

Dizzy's Delivery Diner is a great example of an effective, fresh and clean logo design and website, with some special features that will produce results for years to come.
